Get the newest version, StockStitch™ 6.01 with increased
number and letter sizes plus Bean Block font to use with
the Bean stitch, Cal Shadow 3 color numbers with drop
shadow background, Team Shadow 2 color numbers with drop
shadow background, and Kiss-Cut option; this feature
allows you to order Kiss-Cut parts and has "auto editing" of
placement stitches on top layers and zig zag stitches where
common layers intersect. This new version works on Windows Vista / XP
/ 2000.

Installing
StockStitch™ 6 |
|
|
| Installing
this new StockStitch™ 6.01 version will give you the most updated
version for sewing stock letter, numbers and shapes. The new
CD is compatible with Windows Vista / XP / 2000. |
|
|
|
Here are a few instructions:
|

1.
After installing the new StockStitch™ 6.01 CD,
when you decide to purchase, you will need to
- contact Dalco for an unlock code.
-
2.
Installing a second time, on
the same PC, will
result in loss of your 30 day
trial period.
-
3. If installing is not
working, it may be necessary to
delete the entire StockStitch™
folder and
-
re-install. It is
probably best to call Dalco Tech
Support if this happens.
-
4.
If, during installation, a message stating
"Read
Only File Detected" appears, click
"YES"
to
- overwrite the old file.
-
5. If different layers of a
stitch job fail to line up with
each other, uncheck "USE TRIMS"
option in
-
the
"EXPORT OPTIONS"
dialog box.

Other Circumstances:
|
-
A.
To rectify conflict with Norton
Utilities • Speed Disk
-
• Speed Disk is the
defragmentation utility included
in Symantec's Norton Utilities.
-
Unfortunately, Speed Disk moves
CrypKey Instant Licensing files,
causing license loss.
-
• To
prevent license loss:
-
1). Open Speed Disk and
choose File, Options, Customize,
and Unmovable Files.
-
2). Specify that the *.ENT,
*.RST, *.KEY, and
*.41S files cannot be moved.
-
B.
Transferring StockStitch™ to
Another Computer
-
• Floppy disk license
transfers require a floppy disk,
an authorized copy of your product
-
installed on the source PC, and an
unlicensed copy of your product on
the target PC.
-
• The
transfer process does not
jeopardize your license in any way
and is completely secure
-
because the floppy disk is
registered to a specific PC in a
specific location. This ensures
the
-
license can only be transferred to
the target PC you specify.
|
|
Example:
|
-
You want to transfer a license
from PC1 to PC2.
-
Ensure you meet
the stipulations outlined above.
-
1). On PC2, put the floppy
disk in the drive. Start the
StockStitch™ program and hit the
Enter key
-
as soon as the first window
(license notice) appears. Select
"License" from the menu,
and
-
then select "Kill License"
if it is enabled. Next select
"Transfer in from another
computer".
-
Supply the floppy disk path (Drive
A). The program imprints its
registration on the disk.
-
2).
Remove the floppy disk from PC2,
and insert it into PC1.
-
3).
Start the StockStitch™ program on PC1, hit
the Enter key as soon as the
first window (license
-
notice) appears. Select
"License" from the menu, and
then select "Transfer out to
-
another computer". Supply
the floppy disk path (Drive A).
The program reads the registration
imprint
-
file and writes a matching
file to the floppy, decrementing
the license at the source or
discontinuing it
-
(if a single user
license).
-
4).
Remove the floppy disk from PC1,
and return it to PC2.
-
5). If PC2 was left exactly
as it was after completing Step 1,
then you may immediately select
-
"Transfer in from another
computer" to complete the
license transfer, and you are
done.
-
6). If PC2 was shut down
after completing Step 1, you must
again start the StockStitch™
program
-
on PC2 and hit the
Enter
key as soon as the first window
(license notice) appears. Select
-
"License" from the menu and
then select "Transfer in from
another computer" to complete
-
the license transfer.
